My Little Pony customs do anime.

Rei and Asuka from Evangelion wearing plug suits. I have to tell you, I LOVED styling her hair. I never thought a short hair-do could be fun, but it was. I used saran, so it stays down well and used steam to set it. All the sculpted bits are apoxie sculpt.

You need to warm it - very, very carefully. Wrap the head with a papertowel and dunk it in boiling water for 30-45 seconds. Leave the wrapping on until the hair is completely dry. Sometimes you have to do it again if stray bits didn't stay in place.

mmm...does it harm acrylic paint? i tend to have them painted by the time i hair them, since i'm paranoid of painting hair! lol

Not at all. I always seal paint with modpodge, but even unsealed acrylic is tough enough to withstand a short dip in boiling water.
